Dr. Blesa has played a pivotal role in expanding UCAM’s international footprint and fostering academic collaborations worldwide. His academic focus spans political science, European defense, and international communication, having authored multiple books and scientific papers. He has held visiting professor positions at prestigious universities across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Additionally, Dr. Blesa is an active contributor to international forums and has received several awards, including NATO’s Serge Lazareff Prize.
Pedro Emilio Alcaraz Ramón
Professor of Strength Training and Sports Nutrition at UCAM
Leads UCAM’s sports research center, specializing in high-performance training and conditioning. Works with elite athletes and has published extensively in sports science.
With a strong background in sports science, Dr. Alcaraz collaborates with major professional sports teams, including FC Barcelona and Manchester City. He has coordinated research projects for Olympic athletes and published over 150 scientific papers. He is the founding member of the Strength & Conditioning Society and serves as a professor at UCAM, contributing significantly to the development of sports performance research globally.
